2025 Chevy Blazer EV: Enhanced range and performance await
Today the automaker announced that it would give the 2025 Blazer EV next-gen updates, more drivetrain options, and some very aggressive pricing. Considering many others in the segment will be going electric soon, Chevy has positioned its most recent model to deliver high performance as well as long-range capabilities that can appeal to a wide range of drivers.
The Blazer EV SS: A performance version
One of the most significant changes to the 2025 lineup is the addition of the new Blazer EV SS, which arrives in early 2025 and starts at $61,900. This 595-horsepower electric motor provides this performance variant with enough muscle to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds when wide “Open Watts” mode is selected. The Blazer EV SS takes on other, high-performance electric SUVs such as the Kia EV6 GT and Hyundai Ioniq 5, and is set to become one of the most powerful models in its class.
Improved array and also its models
The 2025 Blazer EV lineup consists of the following configurations, which are now available with better estimated range and specs:
AWD LT Model: This model comes with a power output of 300 hp and a torque rating of 355 lb-ft, making its new EPA-estimated range reach an updated figure of 283 miles. Pricing starts at $48,990.
RS (rear-wheel-drive model): The RWD RS has a 334-mile range. 365 horsepower from today. It has a starting price of $56,950.
LT with FWD: New for 2025 is the front-drive LT, priced from $45,995 and powered by a 220-hp model. But the production model will definitely have less—official ratings are yet to be announced, though expect it to undercut its corporate stablemate for budget-minded EV SUV buyers.
Price Point + Federal tax incentives
Short of leveraging any additional incentives Chevy may tap at the time of model launch, affords Blazer EV to remain in step standing abreast and ready to battle. The Blazer EV has pricing that starts under $50,000 and the possibility of a federal tax credit of up to $7,500—providing some serious value for consumers looking to venture into electric cars.
Versatile Drivetrain options
With its range of drivetrain options including front-wheel drive (FWD), rear-wheel drive (RWD), and all-wheel drive (AWD), Chevy’s 2025 Blazer EV is unique. This variety makes the electric Quattro system a one-size-fits-all solution that can be customized to meet various performance and efficiency demands. It also features Super Cruise available on select trims, offering a semi-autonomous driving experience that enhances your drive by providing you extra convenience and security on longer drives.
Final thoughts
The 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV is ready to disrupt the electric SUV space. The improvements made to its performance and range, without any major change in the price of entry place this model directly on a competitive spot for new buyers. Others could be found in a slew of performance and range configurations, but there are Blazer EVs for high-performance versions or the more affordable ones. Look for the debut in.
