The largest EV Experience in the Netherlands at Circuit Zandvoort
From Thursday, September 26 to Saturday, September 28, 2024, the iconic Circuit Zandvoort will be transformed into the largest EV (Electric Vehicle) Experience in the Netherlands.
Everything related to emission-free mobility will come together at this iconic location.
A few weeks after the Formula 1 spectacle, the circuit will become the epicenter of emission-free mobility, where the latest developments in electric driving will be showcased. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to get behind the wheel of the newest EVs, participate in inspiring workshops, and much more.
The EV Experience is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a diverse program of activities and demonstrations for both business and private visitors. More than 150 exhibitors, including over 40 car brands, are ready to introduce you to the world of electric mobility. In addition to passenger cars, there will also be commercial vehicles and e-trucks, and various charging infrastructure companies will help you with making your fleet more sustainable. The 32 pit boxes in the pit lane have been transformed into pop-up stores from car manufacturers and suppliers, where you can learn all about the latest models and mobility solutions. In the pit lane, the newest EV’s are available for test drives on the circuit, and several models can also be tested on a special off-road course in the dunes alongside the track.
Last Mile course on the paddock
Behind the pit boxes on the paddock, you’ll find the Last Mile course, where visitors can explore the latest innovations in electric bikes, scooters, motorcycles, cargo bikes, and other emission-free solutions for urban logistics. Additionally, the paddock features food trucks, a Networking Lounge, a Fun Zone for kids, and unique vehicles and exhibitors. The recently renovated pit building, covering nearly 4,000 m², offers ample space for the latest EV innovations and accessories. Here, workshops and knowledge sessions are also held, led by industry experts. Sessions such as “Steering into the Future?” provide insights into autonomous driving, with speakers from renowned companies like AON, NXP, and TomTom. At the Allianz Road Safety Square, visitors can attend demonstrations focused on traffic safety and damage prevention.
September 26 and 27: Exclusive for the Business Market
On Thursday, September 26, and Friday, September 27, the EV Experience is exclusively open to the business market. This offers an ideal opportunity for fleet owners, HR managers, logistics providers, SMEs, government institutions, and other professionals to gain knowledge and network. The workshops and knowledge sessions on these days are specifically focused on business applications of sustainable mobility. On Saturday, September 28, the event is open to all interested consumers and enthusiasts, with a tailored day program designed especially for them.
Unique event
“With more than 150 exhibitors, including 42 car brands and 7 truck brands, there is something for everyone. Several EVs will even make their public debut during the EV Experience, being shown in the Netherlands or even Europe for the first time,” says Maarten Pompen, organizer of the EV Experience. “The event offers a unique opportunity to explore the future of emission-free mobility and discover the latest innovations. Additionally, visitors can test various models at one location on the iconic circuit. With inspiring knowledge sessions and activities for car enthusiasts, the EV Experience is not just a visual spectacle but also a hands-on experience. That makes our event unique in the Netherlands.
