Pilot Flying J Passes 300 DC Fast-Charging Locations Across 25 US States
Pilot Travel Centers has expanded its coast-to-coast EV charging network to more than 300 locations in 25 states, operating 309 stations with 1,323 individual stalls in partnership with EVgo — a milestone reached in less than a year after crossing 200 locations.
Pilot Flying J, operator of one of North America's largest truck-stop and travel-centre networks, reached the 300-location milestone for its public EV charging network in July 2026. The network now comprises 309 charging stations with 1,323 individual DC fast-charging stalls spanning 25 states, covering more than one-third of all Pilot Flying J locations. The build-out accelerated sharply in the first half of 2026, during which Pilot added 50 new DC fast-charging sites — effectively reaching 300 locations in less than a year after crossing the 200-station mark. The charging network has been developed in partnership with EVgo. Pilot also opened two new travel centres in the first half of the year, in Chicopee, Massachusetts, and Ponce de Leon, Florida, while carrying out curb-to-counter upgrades at locations across 13 states as part of a broader summer-travel push. The expansion forms part of a multi-year strategy to serve the growing share of EV road-trippers alongside Pilot's traditional customer base of long-haul commercial drivers. The 300-station milestone adds Pilot Flying J to the small group of US charging networks providing meaningful coverage along major interstate corridors nationwide.
