UMBRA is a new European rally exclusively for electric hypercars and supercars. No noise, plenty of acceleration. EVTrader provides the car database and the data layer behind the event.

UMBRA is a new European rally format exclusively for electric hypercars and supercars. The first edition is a multi-day drive from a start city to a finish city, straight across Europe. There is no racing against the clock along the way: the format is built around the route, the cars and the cities where the field comes to a standstill.

The premise deliberately breaks with classic rallies such as the Gumball 3000. Where petrol rallies rely on engine noise, UMBRA bets on the opposite: dozens of hypercars rolling out of a city centre in silence. The fastest cars ever built no longer make a sound — that is the story.

EVTrader is the event's data and media partner. We supply the database of electric hypercars and supercars behind the UMBRA website and contribute to the data layer around the event, such as live telemetry from the participating cars.

Owners of an electric hypercar or supercar can apply for the first edition through the UMBRA website. Applying does not guarantee a starting spot: places are limited and participants are selected.
