Li Auto launched the Li i9, its first flagship battery-electric SUV, on 16 September 2026 in China. At 5,225 mm in length with a 3,168 mm wheelbase, the six-seat model is 140 mm longer and 118 mm longer in wheelbase than the Li i8, making it the largest vehicle in Li Auto's BEV lineup.
The electric drivetrain uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive layout: 150 kW at the front axle and 250 kW at the rear, for a combined output of 400 kW. A 101 kWh ternary lithium battery supports 5C fast charging: Li Auto states that 10 minutes of charging adds 500 km of CLTC range, with a total quoted CLTC range of 705 km.
Standard equipment includes steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering. The second row features four zero-gravity seats with power-swivel capability, allowing rear passengers to face each other. For driver assistance, the i9 runs Li Auto's in-house Mach VLA model on a Mach M100 chip, with one forward-facing LiDAR sensor. The interior carries a 29-inch 6K panoramic display and a 21-inch 4K rear entertainment screen that can slide forward and backward.
The Li i9 is offered in a single Home trim at a retail price of 369,800 yuan in China. Li Auto has not announced international market plans for the model.
