· Daniël Paaij

Tesla delivered 480,126 vehicles in Q2 2026, a 25% year-on-year increase and the company's first annual delivery growth after two consecutive years of decline, beating Wall Street's consensus estimate of around 406,000 by 74,000 units.

Tesla reported Q2 2026 deliveries of 480,126 vehicles and production of 451,758, in results published on 2 July 2026. The total was 25% above the 384,122 vehicles delivered in Q2 2025 and represented the company's first year-on-year delivery growth after two consecutive years of decline — the strongest second quarter in Tesla's history. Wall Street's consensus estimate stood at approximately 406,000 vehicles; Tesla exceeded even the most bullish individual analyst forecasts, which topped out at around 418,000 to 420,000 units. The Model 3 and Model Y together accounted for 467,762 deliveries, with the remaining 12,364 units comprising other models including the Cybercab. Tesla deployed 13.5 GWh of energy storage products in the quarter, a 40% increase year-on-year from 9.6 GWh in Q2 2025 and slightly above the analyst consensus of 13.3 GWh. The strong result was supported by the refreshed Model Y's continued global rollout, the US launch of the three-row Model Y L and early Cybercab production at Giga Texas. Tesla will report Q2 2026 financial results on 22 July 2026.
