Range Rover reveals first images of all-electric GT grand tourer on new EMA platform

Jaguar Land Rover has released the first official images of the Range Rover Electric GT, a low-slung grand tourer unlike anything the brand has built before. Built on JLR's new EMA platform, production starts in the first half of 2027.
Jaguar Land Rover released the first official images of the Range Rover Electric GT on 22 July, signalling a decisive departure from the brand's trademark boxy silhouette. The GT is a low-slung grand tourer with a coupe-like roofline, built on JLR's new EMA electric architecture — the same platform underpinning the forthcoming Range Rover Electric and Range Rover Sport Electric.
JLR describes the model as "the most technologically sophisticated Range Rover ever created." The interior adopts a minimalist approach: a single central screen and a slim digital driver display replace the traditional instrument cluster, with no physical buttons in sight.
Production is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2027, after the flagship Range Rover Electric and the Sport variant have entered production. The GT will offer an EPA range of at least 300 miles (482 km) on a single charge.
The GT launches initially as a battery-electric vehicle. A hybrid variant has not been confirmed.
