Rivian's proprietary charging network passed 1,000 DC fast-charging ports at 148 US locations in early June 2026, with 97% of stations now open to non-Rivian vehicles.
The Rivian Adventure Network (RAN) crossed 1,000 DC fast-charging ports across 148 locations in the United States, the company confirmed in early June 2026. The network grew by roughly 40% in one year, with four new sites totalling 44 stalls opened in the previous month alone. Rivian says all chargers are powered entirely by renewable energy. Accessibility has expanded significantly: 97% of Adventure Network stations are now open to non-Rivian electric vehicles, making it a public network in all but name. The rollout of NACS (SAE J3400) connectors is under way, with 166 stalls across 50 locations already offering NACS plugs alongside the original CCS1 cable; six stations have transitioned to NACS-only charging, aligned with the native NACS ports on new 2026 Rivian models including the R2. The milestone marks a meaningful step in Rivian's push to build a differentiated charging experience as a competitive advantage alongside its vehicles. The company has a longer-term target of more than 3,500 fast chargers across 600 sites in the US and Canada.
