EVgo and Tesla to Deploy Hundreds of V4 Superchargers at EVgo Stations Across the United States

EVgo will install hundreds of Tesla V4 Superchargers at its own locations across the United States, offering up to 500 kW and Magic Dock compatibility for both NACS and CCS vehicles. Construction starts this autumn, with first sites expected by year-end.
EVgo announced on 5 August 2026 that it will partner with Tesla to deploy hundreds of V4 Supercharger units at EVgo-branded charging locations across the United States. Construction is scheduled to begin in autumn 2026, with the first sites expected to open before the end of the year.
Each EVgo-branded Supercharger location will feature up to 20 stalls equipped with Tesla V4 hardware rated at up to 500 kW and supporting voltages up to 1,000 V. The units are equipped with Tesla's Magic Dock adapter system, enabling vehicles fitted with CCS connectors to use the stalls alongside NACS-native models without an external adapter.
The EVgo-branded stations will appear inside Tesla's navigation system, making them routable for Tesla drivers; EVgo's own app will also list the new stalls for its existing customer base. The company expects more than 35 vehicle models with native NACS connectors to be available in the United States by the end of 2026, alongside the millions of Tesla vehicles already in operation.
The agreement reflects the accelerating consolidation of the US fast-charging market around the NACS standard, now formalised as SAE J3400, as charging networks and automakers align on a common connector.
