Stellantis Plans 29 Electric Models and Single New Platform by 2030

· EVTrader EV News

Stellantis unveiled a EUR 60 billion 'FaSTLAne 2030' plan featuring 29 battery-electric models and a consolidated STLA One platform.

Stellantis on 21 May 2026 unveiled a five-year strategic plan dubbed 'FaSTLAne 2030', committing EUR 60 billion of investment to accelerate growth and restore profitability. The programme includes 29 battery-electric models, 15 plug-in hybrid or range-extended models, 24 hybrids and 39 combustion or mild-hybrid vehicles, part of more than 60 new models and 50 major updates planned across its brands by 2030. The centrepiece is a new STLA One platform that consolidates five existing architectures into a single system. It uses an 800-volt architecture for ultra-fast charging and a Cell-to-Body concept that integrates the battery pack into the vehicle structure to cut weight, cost and complexity. The maker named Jeep, Ram, Peugeot and Fiat as its four priority global brands. Stellantis also flagged a step-change in affordability, targeting fully electric vehicles priced below EUR 15,000 from 2028, to be built at its Pomigliano d'Arco plant in southern Italy. The plan targets positive cash flow by 2027 as the group works to reverse recent financial setbacks.
