BMW's all-new iX3, the first series-production model on its Neue Klasse platform, has entered customer deliveries, with orders surpassing 50,000 as of mid-March 2026. European customer deliveries began in late January 2026, while US deliveries are scheduled to start on 25 September 2026. The iX3 introduces a new design language and sixth-generation eDrive technology built around an 800-volt electrical architecture. The iX3 50 xDrive supports DC fast charging at up to 400 kW, enabling a 10 to 80 percent charge in about 21 minutes, or roughly 350 km of range added in around 10 minutes. BMW quotes a range of up to 805 km (500 miles) on the WLTP cycle, while EPA-rated US figures reach up to 434 miles. The model marks the start of a broad rollout of Neue Klasse vehicles and is positioned as a technological showcase for BMW's next generation of electric cars.
