Automaker-backed Ionna reported more than 100 operational fast-charging sites in March 2026, becoming the only US network offering both CCS1 and NACS connectors at every location.
Ionna, the DC fast-charging joint venture backed by major automakers, reported crossing 100 operational sites in March 2026. As of 15 March 2026 the network counted 102 public locations with 964 stalls, having opened its first stations only in December 2024 - a 15-month build to triple digits. By April 2026 it had grown to 107 stations and more than 1,000 stalls. Ionna positions itself as the only US DC fast-charging network offering both CCS1 and NACS (SAE J3400) connectors at all sites: roughly 36.5% of stalls carry NACS plugs and 63.5% CCS1, ensuring broad vehicle compatibility. Its hubs, branded 'Rechargeries', average about ten charging points each. The company aims to exceed 200 Rechargeries with over 2,000 bays by the end of 2026, and targets more than 30,000 fast-charging stalls by 2030. Ionna has also begun taking over high-speed chargers at Circle K sites in the US, expanding its footprint along high-traffic corridors.
